Hobbite attends CFCF2025 Optical Connectivity Conference

From June 16–18, 2025, Shenzhen Hobbite Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the 10th China Fiber Connect Forum (CFCF), a key annual event for the optical communications industry held in Suzhou, China. Organized by Fiber Online, the Harmony Industry Research Center, and the Jiangsu Communications Society, this forum gathered professionals across the optical communication supply chain for technical exchange, product showcases, and market insights.

Embracing the AI-Driven Optical Interconnect Era

During the forum, our team attended multiple sessions across Hall A and Hall B&C of Suzhou Bay, gaining valuable insights into the evolving landscape of optical interconnects in the AI era. Highlights included:
  • “The Value and Trend of Optical Connection in Intelligent Computing and Interconnection”
by China Telecom and China Unicom
  • “Silicon Photonics Technology Promotes Network Transformation in the AI Era”
by NVIDIA Networks
  • “Industrial Outlook in the CPO & OIO Era”
by the Chief Engineer of ZTE CPO Technology
These sessions emphasized that AI-driven digital infrastructure—including computing, networking, and cloud platforms—is significantly boosting demand for high-speed optical modules, especially in the 800G/1.6T segment. Advanced technologies such as SOI silicon photonics, CPO (co-packaged optics), and OIO (optical I/O) are gaining momentum, with strong collaboration observed among industry, academia, and research institutions.

Full-Spectrum Participation Across the Ecosystem

Dubbed the “Suzhou Optical Expo”, CFCF 2025 also brought together a wide range of exhibitors, including:
  • Materials, chips, optical components, and modules
  • Optical systems and connectors
  • Automated assembly lines and test/reliability equipment
We held meaningful discussions with leading exhibitors such as LiZi Optoelectronics, Sichuan Guangwei, Xihe Optoelectronics, Fujin Optoelectronics, Shaanxi Aowei, Dingxin, Suna Optoelectronics, Shenzhen Dimension, and Shenzhen Lixin, laying the groundwork for future cooperation and technology exchange.
